January, 2009   Screening of Sweetmud  in collaboration with Athens Chapter of Hadassah.  Discussion led by Elizabeth Kraft, Professor of English, University of Georgia and Rachel Greb, owner of Yogasprouts (Athens, GA).
 
February 2009  "How to View Films Critically"--Presentation by Matthew Bernstein, Professor and Chair of Film Studies at Emory University.  Co-sponsored by Cine' Arthaus and the Film Studies Program at the University of Georgia.

April 8, 2009   Screening of The Year My Parents Went on Vacation at the Miller Learning Center (University of Georgia).  Co-sponsored by the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Institute at UGA.  Discussion led by Drs. Doris Kadish (LACSI Director), Susan Quinlan, Associate Professor of Portuguese, and Betina Kaplan, Associate Professor of Spanish.
 
May 12, 2009  Screening of Divan at Athens-Clarke County Public Library.  The Film was introduced by guest filmmaker Pearl Gluck who also lead a Q&A session following the screening.
 
July 22, 2009 Screening of Praying in Her Own Voice  at Athens-Clarke County Public Library, in collaboration with Athens Chapter of Hadassah and the Sisterhood at Congregation Children of Israel.  The film was introduced by guest speaker, Rabbi Analia Bortz of Congregation Or Hadash, from Sandy Springs, GA.  She  also lead a Q&A session following the screening. 
 
October 14, 2009 Screening of Khirbet Khizeh at Congregation Children of Israel, Dudley Dr. Athens, GA.  Event Co-sponsored by the Consulate General of Israel to the Southeast and the 50+ Club at CCI.  Ram Loevy, Israeli filmmaker and Director of Khirbet Khizeh  introduced the film and was available for questions and answers after the screening. A reception followed the screening.
 
October 27, 2009.  Screening of Yiddish Theater:  A Love Story at Athens-Clarke County Public Library.  The film will be introduced by MIra Hirsch, former President of the  Association of Jewish Theater.  Ms. Hirsch will be available for a Question and Answer period following the screening.  This event is brought in collaboration with the Athens-Clarke County Public Library.
 
December 9, 2009.  In collaboration with CINE ArtHaus and MAMA's BOY Restaurant, Screening of A SERIOUS MAN with a reception and post-film discussion led by Richard Neupert, Head of Film Studies at UGA
